Barry Gorringe - Managing Director
As owner operator of Travel Diversity I have over 47 years' experience within the travel industry. Having travelled most of my life I have made it my quest to be knowledgeable of destinations and in turn make it easy for our clients. I opened my own agency in 1987 after making the leap from managing the Maroochydore office of East West Airlines.
I enjoy being hands on, working on the front line, finding that impossible fare or that special hotel and sharing the years of earned knowledge with staff and clients.
During my lifetime I have lived in New Zealand and Tasmania. I specialize in building personal itineraries for these fabulous destinations. Apart from these beautiful destinations I have also been fortunate enough to travel extensively throughout Europe with Croatia and Slovenia being a highlight, USA, UK, South Pacific, South America, Canada, China Thailand, Bali, Africa, Hong Kong, Singapore and of course this fabulous country we call home.
Sharing destination and industry knowledge with our staff is really important in ensuring our clients receive current, personal and professional advice.

Gay Johnston - Senior Travel Specialist
I have been in the travel industry for over 27 years, with the last 4 years being at Travel Diversity Tamworth. I have lived in Canada and the USA as well as visiting every continent in the world – there are so many places to see and things to do that I will never run out of destinations or my feeling of excitement for travel.
Some of the most amazing places I've been to are the Caribbean, Africa, Nepal, South America, Europe, Asia, the Pacific, New Zealand and of course North America including Canada, America and Mexico.
To name some highlights of my travels is not hard, a few that come to mind are riding a mule down the Grand Canyon and overnighting at Phantom Ranch, trekking in Nepal, walking amongst Machu Pichu, game safari in South Africa, fishing for piranhas in the Amazon river, my first Cuban cigar in Cuba of course and cruising the Caribbean. It is exciting just recalling all the wonderful experiences I have been so lucky to enjoy.
Every year I head a group of happy travellers to Las Vegas to experience the National Finals Rodeo. It's a great opportunity to be amongst this fantastic atmosphere and the most amazing rodeo in the world... the best of the best. If you are a shopaholic, want to enjoy the sights or gamble there is also plenty of time for these - I will be your "go to girl" as I know where to go and what's best to do.
One of my biggest joys of working in the travel industry is continuously having exciting destinations to visit and to share my experiences as well as guide my wonderful clients through their journeys.
First time travellers are always welcome and I enjoy being a part of the travel process and seeing them safely on their way, armed with all the tips and knowledge I can pass on.
People come into see me with their Big Travel Dreams, whether its within Australia, overseas or the first time to Sydney. I have the ability to make memorable travel dreams come true. It's what I set out to do every time.

Kelsey Walters - Travel Consultant
Lucky enough to travel at a young age with her family, Kelsey got a serious case of the travel bug early on. With a number of journeys under her belt, Kelsey is continuing her love affair with travel. While she has visited some pretty amazing places, including Iceland, New Zealand, Samoa, Peru, Phillipines, Cook Islands, Kelsey wants to keep exploring and seek out new experiences and adventures.
Kelsey decided to work in the Travel Industry as she was lucky enough to travel with her family and got the travel bug. Since then Kelsey has only wanted to seek out new experiences and learn as much as she can.
Kelsey has now commenced her traineeship as a Travel Consultant and is looking forward in gaining knowledge and know-how from the team and is appreciating the remarkable stories from our well-travelled clients.

Belinda Semple - Administration
I started with Travel Diversity in 1987 as a Travel consultant up until I moved into maintaining our administration and systems of Travel Diversity in 1999. I support our consultants to ensure they are able to devote their time to our clients.
I have many years experience in the Travel Industry in which I enjoy immensely. Working within the Travel Industry has given me the chance to travel quite extensively throughout this large world of ours. From the beautiful scenery of New Zealand to the amazing animals of Africa.
Travelling through the many states of America, to the wonderful snowcapped mountains of Canada. I have travelled extensively throughout Europe sighting the many castles there are, and the wonderful gardens of the United Kingdom.
I have also been lucky enough to travel to the relaxing beaches of Fiji, Bali, Noumea and the Cook Islands. I have also travelled this great country of ours, but out of all my travels I have to say that Africa would have to be my favorite travel destination.
